Four-Eight-Four [dot org]

Well, just a few moments ago, the first photo I took with the intent of making a good photograph and then subsequently submitted to iStockPhoto was approved. It was the photo of the old Methodist Church in Youngsville I posted on here a few weeks ago.
It’s not the first photo I’ve submitted since getting the new camera … previously, I had submitted a number of night shots, and they were rejected. I also submitted a macro shot of some matches, just for the heck of it. I had taken the photo moments after removing the camera from its box and putting in batteries … just to test the macro mode. I was sure it would be rejected.

Of course, it wasn’t.

Anyway … this is my first serious submission to iStock to be approved, so I shall now go and celebrate by eating a salad. Or something like that.
